“Desert Escape: A Half-Day Adventure in Agafay”

4:00 PM – Departure from Marrakech

• Pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech by your driver or tour guide.
• Begin your scenic journey toward the Agafay Desert, taking you through the beautiful landscapes of the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.

5:15 PM – Arrive at the Agafay Desert

• Upon arrival at the desert, you'll be greeted by your guide and the team who will provide you with safety instructions and all the necessary equipment for the quad biking experience (helmet, goggles, and gloves).

5:45 PM – Quad Biking Adventure

• Embark on your quad biking tour through the stunning desert terrain.
• Ride through the rocky dunes, dry riverbeds, and wide-open spaces, discovering the unique beauty of the Agafay Desert.
• Your guide will lead you on a safe but exciting route, giving you the freedom to enjoy the adrenaline of the ride and the tranquility of the desert.
• Duration: 1 hour of quad biking.

7:00 PM – Arrival at the Berber Camp

• After the quad biking adventure, you’ll head to a traditional Berber camp in the heart of the desert.
• Relax in the peaceful surroundings as the sun begins to set over the desert horizon, creating a stunning landscape.

7:30 PM – Traditional Moroccan Dinner

• Enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal served in a beautiful desert camp.
• The dinner will include classic Moroccan dishes like tagine, couscous, freshly baked bread, salads, and mint tea.
• Dine under the open sky or in a cozy tent, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Agafay Desert.

8:00 PM – Berber Cultural Show & Entertainment

• After dinner, immerse yourself in traditional Berber culture with a live performance of Berber music and dance.
• The performers will showcase traditional songs and dances that have been passed down through generations.
• Feel the rhythm of the desert and the spirit of Berber heritage while you enjoy the show.

10:00 PM – Return to Marrakech

• After a memorable afternoon, you will depart the desert camp and begin your journey back to Marrakech.

Early in the morning, short transfer to Imlil where you meet the mule driver (s). Ascent to the beautiful village of Aremd then to the refuge (3100 m). Terraced crops, irrigation canals, Sidi Chamarouch marabout, higher up in the high mountains. Night in a refuge.

Once rested, you will begin your journey back across the valley, towards Taourirt, to meet your vehicle. Your return transfer will take you through the Moulay Brahim Gorges, where you will arrive at the main path with streams and paths that branch off in all directions. Here you will have the opportunity to discover the behavior of a camel. You will then continue your return trip to Marrakech, returning around 6 p.m.

The ascent of the highest peak in North Africa is done without major difficulty. A steep valley then a wide ridge lead to the highest point, descending by another slope. Tea and lunch at the refuge, return to the valley by Aremd. Transfer to Marrakech (arriving late in the evening)
